The side-scrolling, platforming video game series known as Geometry Dash was developed by author Robert Topala. On August 13, 2013, the game was first released for iOS and Android devices. On December 22, 2014, it was made available for installation on Windows and macOS. The objective of the video game Geometry Dash is for players to guide a symbol through a series of musical levels while avoiding spikes and other obstacles.
Four of the long levels in Geometry Dash are considered to be "platformer" levels, while the other twenty-two are auto-scrolling levels. A short level known as "The Challenge" is also included, however it is completely unrelated to the other 26 levels in the game. Players have the ability to create their own one-of-a-kind levels by using the system that is used for building levels, share those levels online, and play levels that were created by other players. A number of sources, including as official and user-made levels and chests, may be used to get in-game currency, which may include stars, moons, coins, mana orbs, or diamonds.
