Sara Dean

I have been a personal trainer in Seattle since 2003. I got into training because of my personal relationship with exercise. Namely, I grew up HATING it. As an adult, I’ve become the athlete that I couldn’t be as an overweight teenager and now I cannot imagine my life without my workouts. It is what makes me tick…not because I love it every day or because it feels good (we all know sometimes it doesn’t!) But, it is what keeps me balanced physically, mentally and emotionally. I began working out in my twenties. This has completely changed my life and the way I see myself. This is why I had to become a personal trainer. I want to empower my clients to have a better quality of life and feel good about what they see in the mirror (darn mirrors!) I am not Barbie, nor do I want to be. I want to be real to myself and my clients. So, I practice what I preach and I preach moderation. I appreciate balance in all things.
