Hello everyone, are you getting ready? ( I am not!! life is so caotic at the moment) My apartment booked was gorgeous park view, bland new beautiful modern with kitchen, I am more excited with the apartment!! Only 5 minutes walk from event!!!
By the way I am planning to use tram on the way to the apartment though transfer is cheap in any way. It is useful to know the area and transport system. On the way back we may use transfer to leave 8am on 15th. if anyone wish to share the ride on 15th, please let us know.
Here is how to get the area by tram. Very simple!!!
take tram number 1, direction Řečkovice. You will take the tram at the stop Main station and get out the fourth stop (stop Pionýrská).

It s about £13 from airport to the venue. I am not sure if it is same price for four people. Anyway I will book from my apartment to airport anyway. if anyone want to join, we can ask new price and adjust if nessesary.

Just checked in my outbound flight (12th Sep) on Ryanair. Can't check in the return leg till the 8th, unless I want to pay for an allocated seat. If you guys do it soon we might end up sitting nearby :)
I noticed that Ryanair are allowing a cabin bag and also another small bag! Not sure if thats changed recently
This is what it says on my boarding pass:
"1 large cabin bag (size 55 x 40 x 20 cms) plus 1 small bag or personal item (size 35 x 20 x 20cms) per passenger."

Hi, I don't know where you plan to stay but from Brno airport you can take public bus no.76 for 1 euro and it takes 16 minutes to the centre (central station of all trams) .....bus stop is directly in front of arrival hall

How are you all getting to the airport? Stansted Express from Liverpool Street seems like the most reliable option, unless there are better ideas? Cheaper tickets if we book a month in advance :)

might be cheaper options by coach etc, but Stansted is far from london and you don't want to get stuck in traffic

EasyBus is a much cheaper option if you book in advance too, although leave PLENTY of time to get to the airport in case the buses are full or there is traffic

The biggest issue with getting to Stansted is traffic. Our flight is around 11am right? That means getting there for 9am at the latest, and battling through rush hour traffic might not be advisable :)

Definitely recommend this congress to first time goers. Probably the best organised one with top teachers. And by far the best venue out of all the congresses I've been to.
